Maximilian Büsser, founder of MB&F, launched the M.A.D.1 under a new and more accessible brand called M.A.D.Editions in June 2021. One of its standout features is the lateral time display, where the time is shown on the side of the case, offering a unique and unconventional approach to time-telling. The series also features a kinetic rotor mechanism, prominently displayed on the top of the watch, designed to deliver an interactive, tactile experience. The M.A.D.1S, introduced in 2024, brought a slimmer case design and an upgrade to a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret movement, with a 68-hour power reserve, improving both comfort and mechanical sophistication. Crafted with materials like tungsten and titanium, the rotor ensures durability and distinct movement, while various limited-edition color releases have made these timepieces highly collectible.
