Launched as a standalone series in 1967, the Omega De Ville collection is renowned for its timeless elegance and impeccable craftsmanship. Initially part of the Seamaster family, the De Ville quickly established its own identity. Unlike Omega’s sportier collections, the De Ville stands out for its simplicity and classic aesthetics, exuding sophistication. Each timepiece is crafted with the finest materials from stainless steel to luxurious gold and Omega’s proprietary Sedna gold alloy. With case sizes ranging from 25 mm to 41 mm, the collection caters to a wide variety of tastes, whether paired with leather straps for a refined look or metal bracelets for a sleek, modern aesthetic. From the De Ville collection, the De Ville Tourbillon models are meticulously handcrafted by a single watchmaker and take over 500 hours to create. These are highly specialized, limited-edition watches made from precious materials like platinum or Sedna gold. Outside of the Tourbillon, the rest of the De Ville collection is not painstakingly hand-crafted but nevertheless is produced to meet Omega’s extremely exacting standards using modern production techniques that are faster and less labor-intensive, with no dropoff in the world-class quality for which Omega is known.
