About RM 055

The Richard Mille RM-055, a worthy successor to the RM 038 Bubba Watson, is a highly technical creation rooted in the finest watchmaking traditions. Inspired by the RM 038 tourbillon watch presented in 2011, it features a lightweight case made from grade 5 titanium and high-tech ATZ, ensuring exceptional rigidity and scratch resistance. The Caliber RMUL2 movement features a very open design, with a PVD- and Titalyt® treated baseplate to improve surface flatness and finish. The tonneau-shaped case is complemented by a sapphire crystal, which protects the skeletonized dial and manual-winding movement. Equipped with a variable inertia balance wheel and a double-barrel mechanism, the RM-055 ensures long-term torque stability. This RM-055 is noted for its ability to withstand high-impact conditions.
