About the RM 59

Designed for world-class Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, the RM 59-01 Tourbillon is a marvel of modern watchmaking. This limited-edition watch features a tourbillon movement vibrating at 21,600 times per hour. Its openwork dial, visible through the sapphire crystal, showcases the movement supported by green “beams” inspired by Blake’s nickname, "The Beast." The tonneau-shaped case is uniquely thick, crafted from a translucent composite injected with carbon nanotubes. The watch components are made from anticorodal aluminum, a mix of aluminum, magnesium, and silicon. These parts, colored in green and yellow to honor the Jamaican flag, are specially coated for durability. The RM 59-01 also includes a torque-limiting crown to protect the movement from overwinding and offers a 48-hour power reserve.
