The RM 70-01 is a limited edition of just 30 pieces, designed in collaboration with legendary racing cyclist Alain Prost. This manual-winding tourbillon watch features hours, minutes, a power reserve indicator, and a mechanical odometer—a rare and unique function in haute horlogerie. The odometer consists of five rollers that can be advanced by pressing a pusher, allowing the wearer to manually track their cumulative distance cycled. The watch's case, crafted from Carbon TPT®, combines tonneau and asymmetrical shapes for comfort and optimal legibility when gripping bicycle handlebars. Titanium elements inspired by cycling—such as a barrel ratchet resembling wheel spokes and a crown echoing a bicycle pedal—add to its distinctive design. The RM 70-01 also boasts water resistance to 50 meters and a black rubber strap with a double fold clasp. This masterpiece seamlessly blends form and function, reflecting Richard Mille’s innovative spirit and dedication to performance-driven design.
