Available for purchase is an exceptional example of the Rolex Submariner Reference 1680 “Meters First”, with the SUBMARINER text printed in the coveted red font. This timepiece has a 2.25 million serial number, dating its production to the year 1970. The case is attached to a Rolex C&I riveted link bracelet, with a 77 date stamp. The watch is in great condition, with just a few superficial scratches throughout the sides of the case. There is a slight mark on the rotating inner bezel around the one o’clock mark. The bracelet of the watch tight and in excellent condition, with slight superficial scratching. This watch features a 1970 Mark 3 dial. The crown was updated to post 1972 Triplock.
